Merseyside Police Sports & Social Association is a recreational club for the benefit of Serving and Retired Police officers and their families. Riversdale is a perfect location for all types of informal and formal gatherings and parties. NEW Sports & Social Club for Riversdale MPSSA.
It has been several years in the planning and its moving closer slowly month by month. For some time now it has been at Liverpool City Council planning department however, we are hopeful that inch by inch we are edging towards a new state of the art facility ‘Riverdale MPSSA Venue. It will mean dome disruption in services and accessibility but as you can see from the short film below, its going to be worth it and long overdue.
There will be improved bar and hospitality, a gym and larger changing facilities for sports and recreation. We are confident the café and sun deck will be an extremely popular location for members and associate members, but we are limited to how many associate members we can accept so if you have a friend that is considering joining then we advise that they get a move on.
As soon as we have more information, we will post it in the news section to keep you all updated as and when planning moves forward to development and tendering.

Riversdale is a quiet haven which leads down to Otterspool Promenade. It is a private members club which allows those who choose to enjoy it’s facilities in a beautiful setting. Riversdale has been established for many years and is part of a growing community.
The greenery and vast surroundings are what appeal to most individuals and make this the perfect setting for any celebration or event.
Riversdale is located 7 miles south of Liverpool City Centre and is just 6 miles from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. At the junction of Aigburth Road (A561) turn onto Riverdale Road and the entrance to the club is down on the left.
